Does the thought of hosting a Thanksgiving dinner (or even making just one dish to bring to a gathering) stress you out? Or maybe you’re tired of the same old, same old and want to mix it up this year? Well then, my healthy-curious friends, I invite you to join me for a fun night of cooking together from our respective kitchens to get you feeling inspired, confident and prepared for the upcoming holidays! I will share a few of my favorite easy Paleo Thanksgiving sides that are sure to delight you and your guests. And best yet, they all can be made ahead of time, giving you time to focus on the bird, or simply relaxing on the big day. I’ll also sprinkle in some cooking hacks, best practices and favorite tools to get you motivated.
I encourage you to cook alongside me for the full experience, so once you sign up, I’ll not only email you the Zoom link, but also a list of ingredients and some food prep assignments so we can make the most of our time together. If you don’t have time to shop, prep or cook, join us anyway. All attendees will receive a recording of the class as well as the recipes. The more the merrier at the Generous Helping table!
A little side note about Paleo: you may have heard the Paleo way of eating is all about the meat. Though high-quality animal protein is integral to this diet, for me it means emphasizing whole foods—mostly veggies—while eliminating common allergens like dairy and gluten, but never sacrificing yumminess. And get this: all the dishes for the class can be slightly modified to fit a vegetarian diet.
Tickets are $15 each (non-refundable but transferrable), available on Eventbrite here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/178873394137.
I saved the best part for last: I'm donating 100% of ticket sales to one of my favorite local organizations, St. Louis Area Foodbank, the bi-state region’s largest non-profit 501(c)(3) food distribution center.
I really hope you can join me. I can’t wait to cook with you!
