Does the thought of hosting a Thanksgiving dinner (or even making just one dish to bring to a gathering) stress you out? Or maybe you’re tired of the same old, same old and want to mix it up this year? Maybe you have guests with different dietary preferences or restrictions that you'd like to accommodate. Well then, my healthy-curious friends, I invite you to join me for a fun night of cooking together from our respective kitchens to get you feeling inspired, confident and prepared!
I will share a few healthy and unique ideas for your Thanksgiving spread (except for the turkey, that is) that are sure to delight you and your guests. And best yet, they all have make-ahead strategies, giving you time to focus on the bird, or simply relaxing on the big day. I’ll also sprinkle in some cooking hacks, best practices and favorite tools to get you motivated.
One week ahead of our cooking class, I’ll email you a list of ingredients and some food prep assignments so we can make the most of our time together. But if you don’t have time to shop, prep or cook, join us anyway. All attendees will receive a recording of the class as well as the recipes. The more the merrier at the Generous Helping table!
I saved the best part for last: I'm donating 100% of ticket sales to one of my favorite local organizations, Operation Food Search, a hunger relief organization that provides free food, nutrition education and innovative programs proven to reduce food insecurity to 200,000 individuals on a monthly basis – one-third of whom are children – through a network of 330 community partners in 42 Missouri and Illinois counties.

I really hope you can join me. I can’t wait to cook some healthy and delicious Thanksgiving dishes with you!
